About Joey
Joey Rosenberg is a professional writer and editor with more than a decade of experience covering safety-related topics. As a writer for Asbestos.com, he raised awareness of asbestos-related health hazards at construction sites, military facilities, mines and other at-risk work environments. Since 2018, he has contributed workplace safety and training resources to OSHA Education Center.
Joey graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in English — Technical Communication. He uses his technical writing background to research OSHA regulations and industry training requirements, and he translates this information into terms that anyone can follow. He earned his editing certification from the Poynter Institute for Media Studies as part of a partnership program with the American Copy Editors Society.
As a professional writer, researcher, editor and proofreader, Joey has contributed to a number of online and print publications since 2009, including Asbestos.com and the official alumni magazine for the University of Central Florida.
