About Michael
Michael Purser has been writing professionally since 2012. During that time, he developed a knack for breaking complicated information into simple directions โ a talent he later honed into keen editing skills. As a writer and editor for OSHA Education Center, Michael helps employees and managers alike enhance workplace safety by understanding and implementing OSHA standards.
As a graduate of Brigham Young University, Michael holds a bachelor's degree in communications with a public relations focus. He uses that emphasis to enhance communications and build understanding between workers and organizations. Through his work on compliance and training standards, Michael empowers employees to build a safer workplace through continuing education.
Michael's interest in OSHA standards started early. He worked in a variety of construction sites, warehouses and factories until a workplace knee injury helped him focus on a career in writing and editing. In addition to his regulatory expertise, Michael has covered subjects ranging from video games and ski resorts to non-profit hospitals and cutting-edge recycling technology.
